The Voice Season 12 is in the last week of Blind Auditions with episodes last night (3/13), tonight (3/14) and tomorrow (3/15). How many artists did Blake Shelton score for his team last night?

Blake started out the week last night with the lowest number of artists on his team. Team Blake had seven artists while Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys each had eight artists on their respective teams and Adam Levine’s team included nine artists.

To start with let’s take a look at Enid Ortiz’s Blind Audition. The reggae-rock band singer chose to sing “All I Ask” by Adele for her Blind Audition. During the entire performance Blake and Gwen were exchanging looks and comments about turning for her. At the last moment when Gwen wasn’t looking at Blake he pressed his button to score Enid for Team Blake unchallenged.

Next we’ll look at the singer that uses the name TSoul. The 29-year-old singer took on Al Green’s “Take Me to the River” for his performance. Adam and Blake both pressed their buttons for him. I really thought this would be a win for Team Adam. However, TSould surprised everybody by choosing to go with Blake as his coach and joined Team Blake.

When Valerie Ponzio took the stage on The Voice she performed a unique version of Johnny Cash’s song “Ring Of Fire.” The 32-year-old country-Americana singer motivated all four coaches to turn their chairs. The battle between the coaches began to convince Valerie to join their respective teams. I felt like the edge was in Gwen’s favor with Blake not too far behind. In the end it was Blake that scored the win as Valerie joined Team Blake.

In one of the time saving montage clips that I am not a fan of we found out that Blake also added Andrea Thomas  to his team. However, I am glad that this season the show is at least posting the Blind Auditions online for us to check out. The former back-up singer for Carrie Underwood performed the song “Baby, Now that I’ve Found You” originally recorded by The Foundations and recorded by Alison Krauss in 1995.

Blake, Adam and Gwen all have 11 members on their teams as of the end of the show last night. Alicia has 10 artists on her team. With each coach needing 12 artists to complete their teams for season 12 of The Voice that leaves only five available slots in total for the show still available. See all of the teams at the official website of The Voice here.

The Blind Auditions on The Voice continue tonight (3/14) at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 PM eastern time) on NBC.
