Miranda Lambert released the music video for her latest single “We Should Be Friends” yesterday (2/9).

The song is from Miranda’s #1 double-album The Weight Of These Wings available everywhere now.

The new music video was shot in a beauty shop in  Waterton, Tennessee. It’s a small town just east of Nashville.

Miranda stars in the music video as she goes to the beauty shop for some fun and a make-over as she sings the song. The music video fits her sassy personality and the sassy lyrics of the song. It’s the one song on the new double-album that Miranda wrote entirely by herself.

“The only one I wrote by myself was actually the last song I wrote for the record and it’s called ‘We Should Be Friends’ and it’s kind of opposite advice you know,” Miranda shares, “All my personalities come out on this record (laughs). But it’s just a song about basically my friends and why we know each other and why we love each other an accepting each other with all our flaws.”
