Thomas Rhett has reached the #1 spot on the country singles charts again with his latest single “Star Of The Show.”

The latest single from Thomas Rhett has dislodged Blake Shelton from a three-week run at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart for this week as well as claiming the number one spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart simultaneously.

The song is from Thomas Rhett’s sophomore album Tangled Up and becomes his seventh career #1 single as of this week.

Thomas Rhett says that the song is a special one because of who he wrote it about and with. “his song is special for a lot of reasons. One, I think I wrote this song about a month after I got married,” he shares, adding, “I wrote it with my dad and a guy named Ben Hayslip.”

Another song that Thomas Rhett wrote about his wife Lauren “Die A Happy Man” also hit number one for the singer-songwriter and is nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Song. We will find out if the song that has already been named Single of the Year by both the CMA and ACM wins a Grammy at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday, February 12th on CBS TV.

Thomas Rhett is currently headlining his “Home Team Tour” with special guests Kelsea Ballerinin, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd. The tour will stop at the Peoria Civic Center Saturday, February 25th. Get concert and tickets details here.
