It’s Casual Friday and if you are wearing jeans and a polo style shirt, you are completely overdressed!
Apparently, BATHROBES are the new fall fashion trend. I’m not kidding. Bathrobe-style dresses keep appearing on red carpet events all over.
Vogue magazine even endorses the trend. They posted on social media when Angelina Jolie went out in New York earlier this week wearing what looked like a bathrobe-inspired coat.
It was called the latest in “post-pandemic unpretentiousness” by a writer for the New York Post. It seems that the focus on comfort during the lock-downs have carried over to life beyond the pandemic.
Feel free to wear your robe when you head out to get the groceries, go watch the game at the bar or anything else this weekend. If anybody looks at you weird, just tell them it’s the latest trend from the fashion world.
