Yesterday (9/22) was the autumnal equinox, the official beginning of fall.
That means leaves are beginning to change colors. The trees will begin losing their leaves soon. There will be less daylight with each passing day leading to the winter solstice. The temperatures will also begin to get colder and colder.
With the changing weather comes different activities to be enjoyed. Here are some of the most popular fall activities across central Illinois.
- Play in the Leaves
- Visit a Local Orchard or Pumpkin Patch
- Carve a Pumpkin
- Make a Scarecrow
- Take a Hike or Drive to Enjoy Changing Leaves
- Visit a Corn Maze
- Participate in Hunting Seasons
