Rock icon Jon Bon Jovi saved a woman by stopping her from jumping off a bridge in Nashville.

Jon was in the Music City doing a photo shoot on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night (9/10). He noticed a woman standing on the ledge of the bridge apparently ready to jump off into the Cumberland River below.

Jon and another member of his team went over talked with the woman. They were able to convince her to climb back onto the bridge to safety.

Bon Jovi and another person can be seen in the footage approaching and talking to the woman, who turns to face them. “Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety,” Nashville police said. #nashville#bonjovi
