Today (8/19) is National Potato Day. What do you think America’s favorite way to eat a potato is?

CivicScience.com recently compiled data and determined that 96% of U.S. adults enjoy eating potatoes is some form of preparation. Their data also showed that french fries (72%) was the top way to enjoy potatoes among Americans. Mashed potatoes (70%) came in second. Baked potatoes (64%) claimed third-place.

When it comes to the question of which fast-food restaurant has the best french fries, the data shows that McDonald’s (46%) continues to be America’s favorite by far. Second-place goes to Wendy’s (16%) with Chick-Fil-A (13%) in third.

Personally, I prefer my wife’s cheesy-bacon fries above any others.
