Last night (8/14) Post Malone made his debut at The Grand Ole Opry. Joining him was Brad Paisley, Lainey Wilson, Vince Gill, John Michael Montgomery, and The War and Treaty and others.
Grand Ole Opry member Brad Paisley invited Post to perform on the Opry. Brad was also the one to introduce him and welcome Post to the historic stage.
After stepping into the sacred circle on the stage, Post Malone said,
“Brad, you’re an absolute stud. What’s goin’ on Nashville, what’s goin’ on? My name is Austin Richard Post. And I am here to play some songs tonight with some really amazing folks and friends of mine. I’m honored to call them friends of mine. And, I’m so terrified and beyond honored to be standing right in this spot right here.”
Post also shared that his mom was in attendance. He told Brad Paisley that she took him to see Brad when Post was just six-years-old.
Post Malone’s debut country album, F-1 Trillion, featuring collaborations with top country artists like Hank Jr., Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson and more drops tomorrow, Friday August 16th.
