Has Our Obsession with Pumpkin Spice Dwindled?

Is America’s overpowering love of pumpkin spice beginning to die? According to a recent survey, the obsession is not as strong as it used to be.

It’s back-to-school time which means fall is just around the corner. In fact, it’s just over a month away from the official start of fall, September 22nd.

In a survey of 2,000 U.S. adults pumpkin spice is no longer the “king of fall flavors.” The survey revealed that 58% of us feel there are better flavors for the fall season. In fact, 45% of those surveyed are tired of the basic pumpkin spice flavor.

If you are still a fan, don’t worry, it isn’t going away. Pumpkin spice still made the top five for fall flavors. What flavors beat it?

Here are the top five fall flavors according to the survey…

#5 – Maple (28%)

#4 – Pumpkin Spice (32%)

#3 – Apple/candy apple (36%)

#2 – Salted caramel (37%)

#1 – Cinnamon (39%)
