The personal finance company WalletHub has released a report of the 2024 Best States To Live In.

They used 51 key indicators of livability including: cost of living, job opportunities, education quality, housing costs, income growth, hospital quality and safety to compare the 50 states. After they crunched the data, here are the 2024 top five states to live in…

1. MASSACHUSETTS
   Overall score: 60.52
2. FLORIDA
   Overall score: 59.82
3. NEW JERSEY
   Overall score: 59.65
4. UTAH
   Overall score: 59.58
5. NEW HAMPSHIRE
   Overall score: 59.13

Where did the Land of Lincoln rank? Illinois came in at number 16 on the list with an overall score of 55.63.
