Trace Adkins performed “American Soldier” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Monday (July 29) as a tribute to Toby Keith. Trace was one of the many country stars to commemorate Toby, who died of stomach cancer on February 5, 2024, and was honored during the Toby Keith: American Icon concert event.
Tickets helped fund the Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral, a free stay for children, cancer patients, and their families. Ticket proceeds also supported Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
The concert also featured country performers Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Brantley Gilbert, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker and Luke Bryan. Toby’s daughter, Krystal Keith, was also in the lineup.
Toby Keith: American Icon will air on TV for anyone who could not attend. NBC will air the two-hour concert special Wednesday, August 28th at 8 p.m. central time.
Trace Adkins is bringing his “Somewhere In America Tour” right here in Bloomington, IL at Grossinger Motors Arena Friday, October 25th. Get concert details and buy tickets here.
