Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman are thrilled about their new sitcom, Happy’s Place, which reunites them after 17 years since Reba ended.

Reba’s song, “I’m a Survivor,” was used as the theme song for her first sitcom. It was a hit on the radio as well as starting the show. Reba is reportedly recording a theme song for this new sitcom.

The actresses, along with executive producer Kevin Abbott, are excited to bring new characters and relationships to the screen. The show follows Reba’s character, “Bobbie,” returning home to run her father’s bar alongside a half-sister she never knew, “Isabella” played by Belissa Escobedo. Melissa plays “Gabby,” a bartender.

Despite having to reshoot the pilot, the cast and crew promise that the changes will make the show even funnier and better. Happy’s Place premieres on NBC on October 18th at 8/7c.
