Last night the Boston Celtics won the 2024 NBA Championship. They pretty much dominated the Mavericks with the exception of game 4.

The team has now won 18 NBA Championships, the most by any team in the NBA. It further cements the team as a dominant and historic franchise in the league with 11 Conference titles and 34 Division titles to go with their championships.

Some are speculating that Boston may have thrown game four of the series so that they could win the title in front of their fans at home.

The Celtics won game one in Boston 107 to 89, game two in Boston 105 to 98 and game three in Dallas 106 to 99. The Mavericks won game four in Dallas 122 to 84. Game five was played at TD Garden in Boston where the Celtics clinched the championship by a score of 106 to 88.
