Luke Combs revealed what we all knew was coming, just WAY sooner than later.
With all of the unreleased songs Luke has been sharing and teasing on social media, we knew he had to be working on a new album. He even gave us hints as to the overall theme of the project.
The songs seemed centered around being a father. I just chalked that up to the fact that Luke is a relatively new dad himself. He has two sons. Tex will turn two-years-old June 19th and Beau who will celebrate his first birthday August 15th.
Luke announced his new album is titled Fathers & Sons and will drop at all digital streaming platforms and merchants next Friday, June 14th. The 12-song collection includes the four tracks he teased on social media.
Luke is shown fishing with two boys and an older man on the album cover. This is likely his father and two boys.
While his current single, “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” is not on the album, it will be on the Twisters soundtrack. Yesterday (6/6) Luke dropped the song “The Man He Sees In Me” from this new project.
The release of that song and the new album Fathers & Sons just before Father’s Day really is perfect timing on Luke’s part.
