Miranda Lambert released a fresh preview of her upcoming track, “Wranglers,” on Wednesday (4/24). She posted a preview of the rock-infused country hit on social media, focusing on “taking revenge in the finest way…by “burning it down.”
Lambert hinted to her new anthem last week, reminiscing on her career-defining hits. On April 19th, she shared a reel with music videos from her 2011 hit “Mama’s Broken Heart,” 2014 music video “Little Red Wagon,” 2014 duet with Carrie Underwood, “Somethin’ Bad,” and 2005 song “Kerosene.” The final text was capitalized: “TO BE CONTINUED…”
“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned [fire-emoji],” Lambert wrote in her caption on Social Media as she shared the 25-second clip. She sings: “If he ever loved her/ He never let it show/ If she didn’t need him/ She’d a left him long ago/ She set it all on fire/ And if there’s one thing that she learned/ Wranglers take forever to burn.”
Lambert’s “Wranglers” will be released on May 3rd.
