It’s getting to be that time … Spring Cleaning time. Here are some places in your home that REALLY need to be cleaned this spring!
This Sunday (3/10) we go back to Daylight Saving Time when we “Spring Forward.” Yes, we will lose an hour of sleep. But that also means very soon we will be able to open the house and air it out after being closed up all winter long.
That also means it is time to do that annual cleaning of the house to get rid of all the buildup from being all locked up from the cold. Don’t just give your dwelling a superficial wipe down. Make a big difference by cleaning places that often get overlooked.
Here is a list of several of those places that need a good Spring Cleaning…
- Under the sofa: It’s a place that seems to attract dirt, gravel and dropped snacks that are not recovered. You may even find some lose money there.
- Inside your dryer lint trap: This can be a fire hazard.
- Windowsills: Be sure to use a crevice tool. This is an actual thing even though it sounds like a rude insult.
- Your microwave: It shouldn’t look like you’re creating modern art in there.
- Your keyboard: Don’t worry. We won’t ask why it’s so sticky.
- The K-Cup machine: Seriously, you’re fibbing if you say you’ve already cleaned that, EVER.
- The grout in your shower: The last time it was white, Saved By The Bell was still airing NEW episodes.
- Your Stanley mug: C’mon, man. You wrestled an 80-year-old for that thing at Target … Time to clean it up.
