This guy on X (formerly Twitter) feels like he created this whole new dating trend called “Bottle Night.”

Collin Rutherford stated that he and his girlfriend created “Bottle Night” during a blizzard in 2023. The concept is a pretty simple one.

They locked their phones away, turned off the TV, each grabbed a bottle of wine and then they talked. It’s a brilliant idea to spend some quality time with somebody special. The post went viral with more than 57 million views.

However, is it really a NEW idea? Some people are saying all that the guy really did was discover how to just “hang out.”
