Last week Nashville experienced a winter storm as did much of the country. It left people in Music City, including country artists, dealing with situations they had never dealt with before.

Nashville doesn’t get much snow on a regular basis and typically doesn’t get cold enough for pools to freeze over. However, with last week’s conditions Jelly Roll found himself trying to figure out how to protect his pool that had become ice.

The singer-songwriter headed to his backyard in a short sleeve t-shirt, sweatpants and sneakers with a shop broom in had to see what he could do. His wife Bunny Xo decided to video the situation knowing that things could turn out to be fun to watch. She was right.

I love that Jelly Roll stops leaning out over the ice in the deeper part of the pool and states, “I have assessed the situation. And I am smart enough to know that’s only trouble for me dude.”
