Scotty McCreery released a teaser of a new song on X yesterday (1/4). The song features a catchy beat and tongue-in-cheek lyrics about small-town folk.

Scotty cleverly targets the stereotype of blue-collar workers who work hard and play harder.

“Does anyone else have this problem? [graduation cap and beer mug emojis]. What do y’all think of this one?” He asked in the caption.

Today (1/5) Scotty revealed the song titled “Can’t Pass The Bar” and the release date of January 12th.

This song, one of 13 from Scotty’s mountain writing retreat, is slated to be the lead single for his upcoming project. The release date for the album, which follows his “Same Truck” project, is not yet announced. Several listeners said they “can’t wait” for the full version.
