Dustin Lynch and Jelly Roll collaborated on “Chevrolet,” a nostalgic song reminiscent of Dobie Gray’s 1973 hit, “Drift Away.”
Jessi Alexander, Hunter Phelps, Chase McGill, and Mentor Williams wrote the track. The love tune starts with acoustic strums and bar chatter samples, creating a familiar night atmosphere.
“Chevrolet” is off Lynch’s forthcoming record, Killed the Cowboy. The 12-track LP also features its title track, which is out now. The album is scheduled for a September 29th release. You can pre-order it here.
What do you think of “Chevrolet” by Dustin Lynch and Jelly Roll? Do you have a fond memory of a Chevrolet?
