Last night (4/24) was the final night of the Knockout Rounds on season 23 of The Voice. Who did Blake Shelton keep on Team Blake and use his last Steal ever on?
Blake’s final Knockout Rounds pairing ever as a coach was Grace West and Neil Salsich. Grace chose to sing Dolly Parton’s “Here You Come Again.” Neil picked “Takin’ It To The Streets” by the Doobie Brothers for his performance. This season they have only been posting the Knockout Rounds performance of the winners and the artists that get stolen. Since you see both videos below, you know one gets stolen. Blake chose Grace as the winner and Kelly Clarkson used her “Steal” on Neil.
The final Knockout Rounds pairing of the season was between Team Kelly’s Holly Brand and Rachel Christine. Holly picked Patsy Cline’s “Blue Moon Of Kentucky” to sing, using LeAnn Rimes’ version as a base. Rachel chose “Rhiannon” by Fleetwood Mac to sing. The show posted the video below as a teaser for the episode on Friday (4/21). That means the video does not show what decision was made as to who was the winner.
Kelly chose Holly Brand as the winner. Blake Shelton used his last “Steal” ever on Rachel Christine.
Team Blake now consists of Mary Kate Connor (who got the Playoff Pass), NOVIAS (who Blake stole from Chance the Rapper in the Battle Rounds), Kylee Dayne, Grace West and Rachel Christine (stolen from Kelly Clarkson last night).
Monday (5/1) the Playoffs begin on season 23 of The Voice. Each coach will only be able to advance two of their remaining artists to the live semi-finals. It seems obvious that some very difficult decisions are going to have to be made.
