Corey Kent is in the top 10 and climbing with his single “Wild As Her.” However, he just dropped a new song called “Something’s Gonna Kill Me.”

“Wild As Her” is a song about a woman that is looking to find somebody that is living life completely like she is. Corey’s explains that his new song is about the person that could fit that bill.

“‘Something’s Gonna Kill Me’ is a song I wrote about taking risks. Some of my favorite things in life, they could kill me, but they’re also some of the things that make me feel most alive. I love a Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride. I love smoking a cigar on my porch with a good friend. Really the song’s just a realization that life is short, and you got to take some risks and make the most of it.”

The hook of the song really puts it in a succinct way, “If something’s gonna kill me might as well be what makes me feel alive.”
