Megan Moroney’s debut single “Tennessee Orange” is top 20 and climbing. However, the singer-songwriter just dropped a new song called “Girl In The Mirror.”

The debut single, “Tennessee Orange,” from the Georgia native is about a relationship that makes you feel so good you wear a specific sports jersey for that person. Even if the jersey is the rival of the team you have always been a fan of.

The new song is about a relationship that is not that good or even healthy for one person in it as Megan explains.

“I think ‘Girl In The Mirror’ is the most vulnerable song I’ve released so far. It’s just pure honesty. I wrote it about being in a relationship with someone that I knew wasn’t valuing me. But I wanted it to work so bad that I was sacrificing my own happiness. It’s a reminder that I think a lot of us need to hear, to choose yourself and love yourself more.”

Both songs are from Megan Moroney’s debut studio album titled Lucky scheduled for release May 5th.
