Lainey Wilson has been achieving so much success recently. She has won awards for her music and scored #1 songs. As a result, she has had some pretty cool opportunities.
One of those opportunities was getting to play a character named “Abby” on the TV series Yellowstone. That character has a romance with actor Ian Bohen’s character named “Ryan.” This led to Lainey’s first ever on-screen kiss.
Lainey shared in a recent podcast that she had some rules for Ian when it came time to do the kiss.
“He clearly knew this was my first rodeo and I knew it was not his. I did lay some ground rules. I was like, ‘Don’t do this, don’t do this and don’t do this.’ And he was like, ‘Whatever makes you feel comfortable.’ I was like, ‘Do not put your tongue in my mouth.’ I told him that. Do not do that.”
Lainey says she is glad that her anxiety was not noticeable on screen. She said that Ian made her “comfortable” while filming the screen and it was not like a “real-life kiss.”
Ian got a chance to step into Lainey’s world when he attended the CMT Music Awards last Sunday (4/2). He got see his “on-screen girlfriend” perform and accept two CMT Music Awards.
