Justin Moore dropped a new song called “Everybody Get Along.” It is a collaboration with Riley Green.
Justin wrote the song with David Lee Murphy and Jeremy Stover. He says it is about two guys that are similar, but disagree on everything. However, they are still able to be best buddies. Justin shares that more people need to take that approach to everyday life.
“Look, I have friends who live their lives the same way that I do. And I have friends that live their lives completely separate than I do, and a different way than I do. And guess what? We’re still great friends, and we still have great dialogue, and we can still have conversations and fun with each other. And we can disagree and still love each other. To me, that’s the great thing about our country, if we would embrace that. But we don’t. We just bicker and fight and argue all the time. So, it’s kind of a lighthearted way of saying, hey, chill. Everybody chill. Let’s just have a beer together, and if we agree to disagree, we can high five or hug, or whatever, and still go watch a ball game or do whatever it is we wanna do.”
The song is from the new Justin Moore album titled Stray Dog scheduled to be released May 5th.
Do you have somebody you disagree with on just about everything but is still a great friend?
