I guess you can’t blame a guy for tryin’, right? But then again, seriously!?!?

A County Sheriff’s Deputy in Minnesota pulled a driver over last Friday night (3/24). The driver handed the deputy his driver’s license along with a “Get Out of Jail Free Card” … from a Monopoly game!

We don’t know what the offense was that got the driver stopped. However, we do know the driver will have to pay the penalty as the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office posted the picture above on their Facebook page along with the message, “Last night a deputy did a traffic stop, and the driver handed him this card, along with his driver’s license. Unfortunately the state of Minnesota does not recognize this as a valid document. Points for the effort and humor though! 😂”

The card looked fairly worn on the edges. The driver apparently had this card in his wallet for some time before getting the chance to use it.
