The NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Auto Club Speedway where there will be plenty of room to race in the Pala Casino 400 this Sunday.
That also means there is plenty of room to wreck. Last year’s race at Auto Club Speedway in California saw many cars have tire issues and 12 caution periods as well. The drivers and teams will be hoping that those issues do not repeat in this year’s race.
Here’s the data that the drivers will be dealing with this week.
Auto Club Speedway Track Data
Track Size: 2-miles
Banking/Turns 1 & 2: 14 degrees
Banking/Turns 3 & 4: 14 degrees
Banking/Frontstretch: 11 degrees
Banking/Backstretch: 3 degrees

Backstretch Length: 2,500 feet

Here are the active drivers that have won at Auto Club Speedway in their Cup Careers.
Jimmie Johnson | 6 Wins | 2002, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2016 |
Kyle Busch | 4 Wins | 2005, 2013, 2014, 2019 |
Alex Bowman | 1 Win | 2020 |
Martin Truex Jr. | 1 Win | 2018 |
Kyle Larson | 1 Win | 2017 |
Brad Keselowski | 1 Win | 2015 |
Kevin Harvick | 1 Win | 2011 |
Kurt Busch | 1 Win | 2003 |
We will have to watch and see if it is another single car team that wins, like last week with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the Daytona 500.
Perhaps one of the major teams find a way to Victory Lane this week.
Maybe Kyle Busch will make a statement in his first year with his new team by winning.
Seven-time NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson is racing in limited events this season. Could he claim another win at his home track to make it seven wins to match his championships?
All the questions will be answered in the Pala Casino 400 this Sunday, February 26th at 2:30 p.m. CT (3:30 p.m. ET) from Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
