Thomas Rhett raised quite a few eyebrows when he posted a picture (above) of him, his wife and their four daughters on a ski trip, and he wrote in the caption,”@laur_akins one more kid and we got ourselves a basketball team.” A lot of people wondered if he was dropping a hint. Is he getting ready to surprise us all with some baby news? Perhaps he and Lauren were planning to add another kid soon. Thomas admits that when it comes to their big family, things haven’t always been planned.

“If I’m being honest with you, Willa Gray and Lennon were the only two that were planned. Now, I do not believe in accidents. I do believe everything happens for a reason. But I will say, Ada James was definitely a surprise, and Lily was an extra surprise. And in the moment, you’re kinda sittin’ there goin’, what are we doing? And now that they’re all like gettin’ of this age, you look back at all the sleepless nights, and all the crying and the teething, and all that stuff, and you go, man, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It truly is the best thing that I’ve ever been a part of in my life, gettin’ to be a dad. So, it is chaos 24/7, but it’s a beautiful kinda chaos.”

Whether or not Thomas Rhett has any baby news he’ll be sharing in the near future is to be determined. However, we do know he’s delivering his new song, “Angels Don’t Always Have Wings,” to radio next week.
