Football has been a major focus for many people this week. Monday (1/9) was the College Football National Championship game and the 2023 NFL Playoffs have been set.

Jackson Dean played football in high school, and he was pretty good at it. However, he admits that outside being on the field and playing, he never was and still isn’t much of a fan of football.

“My dad is the guy that watches football. My dad coached me, and he loves to watch college ball. And as much as I played football, and I loved playin’ ball, I never wanted to watch it. I didn’t really want to watch film. Like, I had to watch film when I had to with the rest of the team, but I didn’t watch it on my own. I was working. I was doing things. And sports was just never my thing. I was never that guy that kept track of everybody’s stats. It just was never my thing.”

Jackson’s kinds of sports are huntin’ and fishin and just playing in the outdoors. And his “thing” in life is music, like his #1 song “Don’t Come Lookin’.” You can listen to his follow-up single titled “Fearless (The Echo)” below.
