Jackson Dean started 2022 virtually unknown to the national country music audience. He’s ending the year with his debut single, “Don’t Come Lookin’,” as his first #1 song. Along the way, a lot changed for Jackson and he had to get used to a lot of new things.
“I’ve definitely had to talk more this year than I ever have in my entire life, which was a big change. I was usually pretty quiet and reserved. But havin’ to put my heart out on the line for folks to see has been somethin’ that I’ve had to work at. But other than that, man, it’s just a lot of mornings seeing the Atlantic and the Pacific all in the same day, and going north, south, east, west, everywhere in this nation, and seeing the country real fast, which I’m really grateful for.”
After some time off for the holidays, Jackson will get back to talking, traveling and singing as he joins Blake Shelton and Carly Pearce on Blake’s “Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.” The tour kicks off February 16th in Lincoln, Nebraska, and will visit 18 cities before wrapping up on March 25th in Buffalo, New York.
