Jackson Dean just got the best Christmas present ever, with his debut single, “Don’t Come Lookin’,” hitting number one on the charts last week.

Now, he is looking forward to heading home to Maryland to spend time with his family, especially the youngest members of the bunch.

“Life back home changed a lot. My sister had a kid, my brother had a kid, and there’s about 11 of us in the immediate family now. And I’ve been gone for a while man, I have not been present. I’ve been out doin’ my thing and I don’t get to see ‘em too often, so , I’m gonna just go home and be present. And I’m excited this year to like see Ophelia and Tom, my niece and nephew, gettin’ and rippin’ open presents, cause they’re knee-high to a stump right now. And probably gettin’ to see that will be a gift enough for me.”
