Brett Young enjoys the typical foods that most people eat on Thanksgiving. However, there is one common item (that Brett is very particular about) that only his mom can make exactly how he likes it.
“For Thanksgiving, aside from the turkey, my thing – and it’s a normal thing to everybody, but for whatever reason it’s a staple at Thanksgiving for me, and it’s my mom’s homemade gravy. Everybody has gravy, but for whatever reason, I don’t know if it’s a little bit saltier than most, but it’s exactly the same every year for my whole life for as long as I can remember. And that’s always the biggest disappointment if I go somewhere where the gravy is so different that it doesn’t feel, smell, or taste like mom’s homemade gravy.”
Is there something that has to be made by a certain person each year for your Thanksgiving to feel complete?
