Last night (10/31) the Knockouts began on The Voice. Who did Blake Shelton keep on Team Blake?
The twist of the season this time is that there are three-way Knockouts for the first time ever on The Voice. Three artists perform from each team and the coach has to decide which one of them is the winner to stay on their team for the Live Shows. There are no “Saves” and each coach gets one steal. This cuts each team down from nine to four by the end of this round.
Blake Shelton’s first three-way Knockout was between Bodie, Kevin Hawkins and The Dryes. In this round each artist chooses what song they want to perform. Bodie decided to tackle Post Malone’s “Better Now,” Kevin Hawkins sang Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work” and The Dryes chose Ryan Hurd & Maren Morris’ “Chasing After You.” The video below was posted last Friday (10/28) as a tease for last night’s episode. It does not show what choice Blake makes.
Blake decided to keep Bodie on Team Blake for the live shows. None of the other coaches chose to “Steal” Kevin or The Dryes so they were eliminated from the competition.
Gwen Stefani’s first three-way Knockout was between Kique, Destiny Leigh and Rowan Grace. Gwen chose Kique as the winner. Nobody chose to steal Destiny. However, Blake hit his button to use his “Steal” on Rowan Grace and take her to the Live Shows on team Blake. Check out her performance of Billy Joel’s “Vienna” below.

The three-way Knockouts continue tonight at 7 p.m. central time (8 p.m. eastern time) on season 22 of The Voice on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock.
