A recent study identified the top ten cities in America that use swear words the most. The top city for cuss words might surprise you.
You might think that because of all the money lost in Las Vegas, that would top the list. You would lose that bet. Another city you might think is at the top for bad language based on TV and movies is New York City … wrong again.
Columbus, Ohio ranks at the top of the list for the worst language in America. People there use an average of 36 swear words a day.
The rest of the top ten for the worst language are: Las Vegas, Nevada (30 words); Jacksonville, Florida (28 words); Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (25 words); Dallas, Texas (25 words); Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (25 words); Indianapolis, Indiana (25 words); San Francisco, California (24 words); Louisville, Kentucky (24 words); Fort Worth, Texas (24 words).
Phoenix, Arizona and Portland, Oregon topped the list for the least cuss words per day at just 14 each. Amazingly, New York City, Boston, and Chicago all made the list for the least R-rated words per day!
