Would you eat a bowl of cereal that you add water to make milk? Kellogg’s is betting that you would if you are a busy person.

The cereal company has released bowls of Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, and Raisin Bran Crunch with powdered milk already in the bowl. You just add water and stir to re-hydrate the milk before eating it.

The new “Insta-Bowls” (as Kellogg’s calls them) are available right now only at select Walmart stores. They plan to sell them nationwide at walmart.com soon. The bowls cost $2 each. That’s quite a bit more than a bowl of cereal you would eat at home. Kellogg’s is betting you will pay extra for the convenience of an “on-the-go” breakfast.

The new Insta-Bowl cereals have been making a splash on the internet since the news hit over the weekend. Most of the internet buzz seems to be because people think it sounds gross. What do you think? Does “just add water cereal” sound gross or is it something you will try?
