Labor Day is almost here. It’s a day to celebrate the hard-working men and women of the United States of America. Most people work many different jobs before landing their “dream job”.

Before Carly Pearce landed her record deal with Big Machine Records, she worked a lot of different jobs and did whatever it took to be able to continue to pursue her dream of becoming a successful country music singer.

“I used to work in the Banana Republic in the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, which is kind of the touristy mall. So, we get a lot of traffic. So, I worked there 10 hours on a Saturday, which y’all, you see a lot of people. And then I also cleaned Airbnb‘s, which is not glamorous at all. I cleaned a lot of toilets, scrubbed a lot of floors, cleaned a lot of sheets… nasty. And I also nannied, which was super fun, but hard work.”

What are some jobs you did before you got your “dream job”?
