Is this genius or just nuts? A company in Japan is selling wearable fans for your pets to use when it is hot.

They are called “Cool Dog” vests. A company in Tokyo created them. The owner came up with the idea when she saw how hot and exhausted her chihuahua was when she took him on walks.

They weigh about three ounces and worn in an included mesh vest. While the vest might make the animal a little warmer, the fan is designed to circulate fresh air through their fur and across their body to cool them.

They are available in five sizes to fit small to medium-sized dogs as well as cats.

The vests cost around $75 each and can be ordered online here. However, they are apparently not shipping to the U.S. yet.
