Both Scotty McCreery and Tim McGraw are enjoying a week at #1 with their current singles this week.
This week’s Billboard Country Airplay Singles chart has Scotty’s song “Damn Strait” moving up a spot to take over at #1. This is the fifth consecutive number one single for the American Idol winning alum. However, Scotty says that the fans made this one special.
“This one it really does feel different, just the reaction we’re getting in our live show, and socials and it just feels different than the last few, which is exciting. It feels like it is really connecting. Country Music, for me is what I love, it’s what I breathe, it’s in my core. I feel like if you love Country Music, you love George Strait. Those two things come together, so, it’s nice to see a lot of folks connect with this one.”

The Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart shows Tim moving up two spots to take over #1 on that chart. “7500 OBO” becomes the 45th career number one single for the country music superstar. It can be found on Tim McGraw’s album Hear On Earth also available everywhere.
