Justin Moore’s first #1 song “Small Town USA” was an ode to towns like Poyen, Arkansas, where he grew up. However, Justin shares that everybody knew Poyen was the place to be on the Fourth of July!

“In my little town, as small as our town was, I mean it would be 10 times that many people in it that day. I mean, people drove from all over because it was known within a 50 mile radius that it was the best fireworks show around, which is super random. And then bands played. We did that every year. Everybody went to it. You know, everybody I’ve ever known.”
