The official full-length trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder reveals more about the coming fourth Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie about the Norse god of thunder.

This trailer gives us our first look at Christian Bale as the film’s villain “Gorr the God Butcher”. It also reveals how part of the plot will feature some comedy as Chris Hemsworth as “Thor” must deal with working with his ex-girlfriend “Jane Foster” played by Natalie Portman. This is Natalie’s first return to the MCU since “Thor: The Dark World” in 2013.

The movie also features Tessa Thompson as “Valkyrie”, Chris Pratt as “Star-Lord” and Waititi as “Korg”.

There is a scene with a nude rearview of Chris Hemsworth blurred in the trailer. Some may wonder if that scene be more revealing in the actual movie?

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters July 8th.
