Jason Aldean is set to release the second half of his double album Macon, Georgia this Friday, April 22nd.
Macon, Georgia is Jason’s hometown. The first half of the project named Macon was released last fall. Jason explains how making music has changed in recent years.
“The way music is now it’s so different than it was even five years ago, where you go ‘Alright, here’s an album, and the next album will be out in a year and a half, or whatever.’ Now, we’re trying to bridge the gap a little bit with this record, dropping the first half, then six months later dropping the second half. So this was just kind of a cool way to do that. Give the fans more music, and it being my tenth album, it just kinda felt like the right time to do that.”
Jason’s latest single “Trouble With A Heartbreak” is at number 15 and climbing on the Billboard chart this week. It is part of the Georgia half of the double album.
Below is a complete list of songs on both albums.
