Back when Carly Pearce was going through her divorce, she got a fluffy little white puppy and named her June. She credits June with helping get her through one of the toughest times in her life. However, she also cautions anyone who’s thinking of bringing a puppy into your life, “Just understand that your life is over. I have never been so obsessed with a thing in my life.”

Any prospective puppy owners should also know that puppies chew on things, and things might get destroyed. For instance, Carly says, “I now have a coffee table that I call the termite table because it truly looks like termites have just attacked it, because she chewed it almost all the way through the wood.”

Despite June’s tendency to use Carly’s table as a chew toy, Carly is still obsessed with her and wouldn’t trade having June in her life for anything.
