Blake Shelton was the top earning country artist of 2021 by more than twice as much as the rest of the top 10 list.
Country Insider reports that former Forbes editor Zack O’Malley Greenburg created a list that measures “pretax earnings for calendar 2021 before deducting expenses for agents, managers and lawyers.” The tallies take into account numbers from Pollstar and Luminate as well as information gathered by interviewing industry insiders.
Blake’s income outside the typical touring and such included his catalog sale (which was worth more than $50 million) and his role on The Voice. That put him at an estimated $83 million for 2021. That’s more than double the $40 million that Luke Bryan earned from endorsements with Bayer and Jockey and of course his role on American Idol.
Here is the list of top 10 highest-paid artists of 2021…
- Blake Shelton ($83 million)
- Luke Bryan ($40 million)
- Dolly Parton ($30 million)
- Chris Stapleton ($26 million)
- Florida Georgia Line ($25 million)
- Garth Brooks ($20 million)
- Luke Combs ($19 million)
- Zac Brown Band ($17 million)
