Cole Swindell’s new album Stereotype was released today (4/8). It features his current single “Never Say Never” which he will perform on the CMT Awards Monday (8/11).
The song is a collaboration with Lainey Wilson and is in the top five on the charts. Cole shares that he is ready to get back on live TV and perform the song together with Lainey for the first time.
“I’m very excited, I mean to have a song that’s doing this well at radio, and just the response has been, and to have never sang it live together, I think people are gonna love that. I’ve certainly been waiting on it, and I know she is too. So, I’m ready to get some rehearsing done, and getting ready to perform live gosh, I’ve missed that feeling and that rush of energy knowing you’re on live television.”
The 2022 CMT Awards will be co-hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and “Captain America” actor Anthony Mackie. The show will be broadcast live from Nashville 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET) Monday, April 11th on CBS.
