If you wanna share your Netflix password, you are gonna have to pay!
Netflix is making an effort to stop people from sharing their passwords with people outside of their household and says, if you wanna keep sharing, that’s fine, but you can expect to pay a bit more!
They are testing new features in parts of Central and South America in a few weeks to allow subscribers to “add sub accounts for up to two people they don’t live with” for an added price.
The other feature will allow subscribers to transfer profile information, such as viewing history and personalized recommendations, into either a new account or an “Extra Member sub account.”
The features will start in three countries — Chile, Costa Rica and Peru — but the announcement maintained that “we’ll be working to understand the utility of these two features for members in these three countries before making changes anywhere else in the world.”
I feel like there needs to be a mom clause that states you can’t share your password with anyone, except for your mother. I mean, do they know how much my mom has done for me (and still does?)…the LEAST I can do is share my password with her!
