It’s official now: MLB is a go, and opening day is April 7th!

It finally happened! After what seemed like forever, MLB and the players association have come to terms on a deal. There will be baseball played at the highest level in 2022.

This is great news for baseball fans, and even better news for Chicago Cubs fans because they will open the 2022 season at home against the Brewers on April 7th. A true Opening Day at Wrigley Field is a relatively rare thing because they are usually on the road. Let’s hope it warms up by then!
