Dolly Parton has the most number one hits by a female artist on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at 25. She has added another #1 to her resume, but it’s not a song.

Dolly’s book Run Rose Run that she wrote with James Patterson debuted yesterday (3/8/22) at #1 on Amazon. There is also a 12 song Run Rose Run album to accompany the book.

This is not the first book written by Dolly. She actually wrote seven books previously. They include two illustrated children’s books, several memoirs, and a cookbook. Included among them is Dream More: Celebrate the Dreamer in You, Dolly’s 2012 inspirational bestseller.
