Cole Swindell’s latest single “Never Say Never” features Lainey Wilson. The two country music stars explain that the idea behind their song is not needing, but still wanting.

(Cole) “A lot of us, at some point in life have been in a situation … Relationship where you know it might not be the best thing for both of you, but it’s just hard to turn down.”

(Lainey) “It’s like that piece of chocolate cake. It’s like you know you don’t need it, but you gotta have it. (laugh)”

(Cole) “Exactly.”

“Never Say Never” is in the Top 20 on the country radio airplay singles charts. It will be included on Cole’s fourth studio album titled Stereotype. The album is set to drop April 8th.
