Last Saturday night (2/12) Lauren Alaina was officially made a member of the Grand Ole Opry. It’s something she has dreamed about most of her life. The singer-songwriter says although she has always felt welcome at the Opry, now it is like they are married.

“I have felt like a family member there, honestly, since the day I walked in there. That’s just the environment that the Grand Ole Opry is. However, to officially be added to the family, it is like getting married. It is like, they’re stuck with me now. And I will never be signing any divorce papers so.”

Congratulations to Lauren Alaina on this well-deserved career milestone!
