Chris Stapleton’s latest single “You Should Probably Leave” is an old song according to the singer-songwriter.

“Well this song is very old. I don’t know the exact date of creation on this song, but let’s say ten years ago. I recorded an entire record that was previous to ‘Traveller’ that kind of got canned. A version of this song is actually on that record. So it’s kind of full circle for this song to kind of re-emerge.”

Timing is everything as they say. The “old song” by Chris is sitting at number two for another week on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart. Just waiting and hoping to take that final step to the top of the chart.
